Summary
SECTION 16-3-1290. Victim Compensation Fund; payment of claims, expenses and administrative costs. (A) There is hereby created a special fund to be known as the Victim Compensation Fund for the purpose of providing for the payment of all necessary and proper expenses incurred by the operation of the fund and the payment of claims. The State Treasurer is the custodian of the fund and all monies in the fund are held by the State Treasurer. (B) The funds placed in the Victim Compensation Fund shall
