South Carolina Code of Laws § 16-17-580

Summary
SECTION 16-17-580. Removing State line marks. Any person who shall deface, disturb or remove any granite post or marking, whether wood, stone or metal, duly placed by competent authority on the State line of this State shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars or imprisoned not less than six months.
