Advertising and marketing prohibitions. (1) A person may not engage in unsolicited door to door or telephone advertising and marketing of prearrangement sales contracts or preconstruction sales contracts. The costs of advertising and marketing may not be paid from trust funds. (2) Advertising and marketing a prearrangement sales contract or a preconstruction sales contract by a funeral service practitioner, embalmer or funeral service establishment licensed under ORS chapter 692 does not constitute a violation of ORS 692.180 (1)(c).
