Statute Text
Selling
land unsuited for burials.
If in the board of directors opinion, any portion of the lands of a nonprofit
corporation organized and existing solely for the purposes of either owning or
operating a cemetery or the cremation or reduction of bodies of deceased
persons and the burial and care of cremated or reduced remains is unsuitable
for burial purposes or other purposes of the corporation, the board of
directors may sell such portion and apply the proceeds to the general purposes
of such corporation in the same proportion and manner as provided by ORS 97.660
