Statute Text
Penalties.
(1) The
giving of a false statement of the true and actual consideration as required by
ORS 93.030 is a Class A violation.
(2) Any person
served with the subpoena mentioned in ORS 93.460 who, without reasonable cause,
refuses or neglects to appear, or appearing refuses to answer upon oath
touching the matter mentioned in ORS 93.460 shall forfeit to the injured party
$100. The person may also be committed to prison as for a contempt by the
officer who issued the subpoena until the person submits to answer on oath as
aforesaid.
(3) Violation of
ORS 93.635 is a Class D violation. [Subsection (1) enacted as 1967 c.462 §2;
