Reckless boating; speed.
(1) A person commits the crime of reckless boating if the person recklessly
operates a boat in a manner that endangers the safety of persons or property.
As used in this subsection, recklessly has the meaning given that term in ORS
161.085.
(2) A person may
not operate any boat at a rate of speed greater than will permit that person in
the exercise of reasonable care to bring the boat to a stop within the assured
clear distance ahead.
