Statute Text
Fire
extinguishers; rules.
(1) Every motorboat shall carry on board, fully charged and in good condition
fire extinguishers of a type required by the board by rule.
(2) The State
Marine Board shall make rules for fire extinguishers in accordance with ORS
chapter 183.
(3) When the
board makes rules under this section it may consider fire extinguisher
requirements and standards adopted by the United States Coast Guard. [Formerly
