Statute Text
State Marine Board. (1) There hereby is created the State Marine Board consisting of five members to be appointed by the Governor and to serve at the pleasure of the Governor. (2) Each member shall be a resident of this state, a citizen of the United States, and at the time of appointment shall have resided in this state for at least one year. (3) All appointments of members of the board by the Governor are subject to confirmation by the Senate in the manner provided in ORS 171.562 and 171.565. [Formerly 488.825]
