Statute Text
Definitions.
As
used in this chapter:
(1) Combined
weight means the total empty weight of all vehicles in a combination plus the
total weight of the load carried on that combination of vehicles.
(2) Commercial
vehicle means a vehicle that:
(a) Is used for
the transportation of persons for compensation or profit; or
(b) Is designed
or used primarily for the transportation of property.
(3) Department
means the Department of Transportation. [Formerly 768.001]
