Statute Text
Payment of taxes and fees by credit card; rules.
For payment of any weight-mile
taxes and fees, the Department of Transportation may:
(1) Accept
payment of taxes and fees by credit card. Any payment made by credit card shall
be for the full amount of the tax or fee, except that a surcharge may be added
to the amount tendered by the customer to offset fees charged to the department
for acceptance and use of the credit card.
(2) Adopt
reasonable rules as necessary or proper for the administration of this section.
