Statute Text
Restrictions on use of funds.
No part of the funds produced by this chapter shall be used by the Department
of Transportation directly or indirectly:
(1) For the
purpose of investigating the rules, charges, practice or service of any carrier
by rail.
(2) In the
administration or enforcement of any law or authority over any carrier by rail.
(3) To
investigate motor carriers beyond the appropriation made in this chapter. [Formerly
