Classes of carriers of household goods; filing of tariff. (1) For-hire carriers of household goods shall be classified, and the classification shall be shown on the carrier’s certificate when issued or reissued by the Department of Transportation, as follows: (a) Irregular route transportation of household goods. (b) Local cartage of household goods. (2) Irregular route carriers of household goods shall file tariffs and classifications governing rates. (3) Cartage carriers of household goods shall file tariffs and classifications governing rates. The department shall, after hearing, determine what territorial limits will be included within the commercial area adjacent to the limits of any incorporated city. [Formerly 767.415; 2015 c.283 §12]
