Statute Text
Department to participate in contested abandonment proceedings.
The Department of Transportation
shall participate before the appropriate federal agency in all contested
railroad line abandonment proceedings involving the proposed abandonment of any
railroad line in this state. Prior to such participation, the department shall
consult with public entities and users of railroad service affected by the
proposed abandonment. [Formerly 760.630]
