Use of improper certificate for pollution control system; penalty. (1) A person commits the offense of use of improper certificate for pollution control system if the person makes, issues or knowingly uses any imitation or counterfeit of a certificate of compliance described under ORS 468A.810 or 815.310. (2) The offense described in this section, use of improper certificate for pollution control system, is a Class B traffic violation, but each day of violation does not constitute a separate offense.
