Operation of motor assisted scooter in crosswalk; exception; penalty.
(1) A person commits the offense
of operation of a motor assisted scooter in a crosswalk if the person fails to
walk the motor assisted scooter in a crosswalk.
(2) This section
does not apply to a person with a disability operating a motor assisted scooter
in a crosswalk.
(3) The offense
described in this section, operation of a motor assisted scooter in a
crosswalk, is a Class D traffic violation. [2001 c.749 §13; 2007 c.70 §346]
