Statute Text
Commercial driving privileges; Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration;
conformance; rules.
(1) The Department of Transportation may adopt rules necessary to administer
regulations promulgated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
related to regulating commercial driving privileges.
(2) If a person
is not in compliance with the rules adopted under this section, the department
may deny the issuance or renewal of commercial driving privileges and may
cancel, suspend or revoke commercial driving privileges.
(3) A person
impacted by a rule adopted under this section is entitled to an administrative
review or administrative hearing pursuant to ORS 809.140 and 809.440. [2025
