Statute Text
When
certificate of insurer not authorized to do business in this state may be used.
The Department of Transportation
may not accept a certificate of insurance for purposes of future responsibility
filings from an insurer that is not authorized to do business in Oregon unless
the insurer is an eligible surplus lines insurer as defined in ORS 735.405 or a
risk retention group as defined in ORS 735.305. [1983 c.338 §863; 2003 c.175 §9;
