Improper use of temporary registration permit; penalty.
(1) A person commits the offense
of improper use of temporary registration permit if the person is issued a
temporary registration permit under ORS 803.625 and the person does any of the
following:
(a) Violates any
rule adopted by the Department of Transportation under ORS 803.625 concerning
the use of the permit.
(b) Fails to keep
the permit on and upon the vehicle during the period until the receipt of the
permanent registration plates.
(c) Fails to
remove the permit from the vehicle upon receipt of permanent registration
plates.
(2) The offense
described in this section, improper use of temporary registration permit, is a
