Statute Text
Knowingly submitting false information about transfer of interest in vehicle; penalty. (1) A person commits the offense of knowingly submitting false information about transfer of a vehicle if the person submits a notice of transfer of an interest in a vehicle as described in ORS 803.112 to the Department of Transportation and the person knows that some or all of the information contained in the notice is false. (2) The offense described in this section, knowingly submitting false information about transfer of a vehicle, is a Class C misdemeanor. [1995 c.516 §5]
