Selling untitled vehicle prohibited; penalty. (1) A person commits the offense of selling an untitled vehicle if the person sells a vehicle without complying with the requirements under ORS 803.025 and 803.045 to obtain a title for the vehicle or the requirements of ORS 819.016 to obtain a salvage title for the vehicle, as appropriate.
