Statute Text
“Title.” “Title” means an ownership interest in a vehicle that is evidenced by a record of the Department of Transportation or of some other jurisdiction. The record may be in the form of a certificate of title or it may be in another form, including but not necessarily limited to electronic or machine-readable form. Oregon issues titles under ORS 803.045. Titles for snowmobiles are issued as provided under ORS 821.060. Salvage titles are issued as provided in ORS 803.140.
