Statute Text
Snowmobile.
Snowmobile means a
self-propelled vehicle that:
(1) Is capable of
traveling over snow or ice;
(2) Uses as its
means of propulsion an endless belt tread or cleats or any combination of tread
and cleats or similar means of contact with the surface upon which it is
operated;
(3) Is steered
wholly or in part by skis or sled-type runners; and
(4) Is not
registered in this state as a vehicle other than a snowmobile. [1983 c.338 §90]
