Statute Text
Semitrailer.
Semitrailer means a trailer
designed so that part of the weight of the trailer and part of the weight of
any load on the trailer rests upon or is carried by another vehicle and coupled
to another vehicle by a fifth wheel hitch. The definition in this section is
based on design and, except as otherwise provided in this section, does not
prohibit a semitrailer from fitting into another category of trailer based on
