Statute Text
District
attorneys and deputies prohibited from engaging in private practice of law;
exception.
(1)
Except as authorized by subsection (2) of this section, district attorneys and
deputy district attorneys may not engage in the private practice of law.
(2) A district
attorney or deputy district attorney may engage in volunteer or pro bono legal
