Statute Text
Qualifications of members. (1) The board shall be composed of residents of the State of Oregon. The Governor shall make appointments to the board so as to assure that not fewer than two board members are residents of each county constituting the port district. (2) A person is eligible for appointment as a commissioner of the Port of Portland who at the time of the appointment is a citizen of the United States and of the State of Oregon, and who has for one year immediately preceding appointment resided within the State of Oregon.
