Statute Text
Practices not constituting unjust discrimination.
(1) ORS 759.260 does not prevent
any telecommunications utility from giving free service, or reduced rates
therefor, to:
(a) Its officers,
directors, employees and members of their families;
(b) Former
employees of such telecommunications utilities or members of their families
where such former employees have become disabled in the service of such
telecommunications utility or are unable from physical disqualification,
including retirement, to continue in the service; or
(c) Members of
families of deceased employees of such telecommunications utility.
(2) The Public
Utility Commission may require any telecommunications utility to file with the
commission a list, verified under oath, of all free or reduced rate privileges
granted by a telecommunications utility under the provisions of this section. [1987
