Statute Text
Effect
of orders on successors in interest.
(1) An order of the Public Utility Commission issued in accordance with the
provisions of ORS chapters 756, 757, 758 and 759 is binding upon the successors
in interest of each person affected thereby, until set aside, rescinded,
suspended or modified as provided by law.
(2) Any
investigation, hearing or other proceeding involving the issuance of an order
of the commission that has not been finally determined when a transfer of any
interests of a person is effected may be continued and finally determined,
notwithstanding any such transfer of interest. Any order issued in such
investigation, hearing or other proceeding is binding upon the successors in
