Statute Text
Salaries; other compensation. (1) The trust carrying out a multiple employer welfare arrangement may not pay any salary, compensation or emolument to any officer or trustee of the trust unless the payment is first authorized by a majority vote of the board of trustees. (2) The compensation of any trustee or officer may not be unreasonable and may not be calculated, directly or indirectly, as a percentage of contributions collected.
