Statute Text
Disposal of investments on order of director.
After a hearing, the Director of the Department of
Consumer and Business Services may by written order require the disposal of an
investment which the director finds to be made or retained in violation of the
Insurance Code, or of an investment which the director, for good cause,
determines to be prejudicial to, and to impair the security of, the
stockholders or policyholders of the insurer. [Formerly 738.355]
