Statute Text
Permit
to organize insurer required.
No person shall organize or solicit or receive any money for the organization
of a domestic insurer without a subsisting permit to organize an insurer issued
by the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services pursuant to
ORS 732.055. The director shall not require a fee for filing an application for
such a permit in the case of the organization of a reciprocal insurer that
exchanges policies of insurance covering only wet marine hull insurance for
persons whose earned income, in whole or in part, is derived from taking and
selling food resources living in an ocean, bay or river. [1967 c.359 §147; 1977
