Insurer filings with National Association of Insurance Commissioners. (1) Every authorized insurer shall file with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, on or before March 1 of each year, a copy of its annual statement blank, along with additional filings required by the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services for the preceding year. The information filed with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners must be in the same format and scope as that required by the director and must include the signed jurat page and the actuarial certification. Each amendment and each addendum to the annual statement filing subsequently filed with the director must also be filed with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. (2) A foreign insurer that is domiciled in a state having a law substantially similar to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section is considered to be in compliance with this section. (3) An insurer making a filing under subsection (1) of this section must pay the National Association of Insurance Commissioners the fee established by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners for filing, reviewing or processing the information.
