Statute Text
Time for commencement of service and repair; effect of delay; tender of conforming goods. Where an option is exercised in favor of service and repair under ORS 72.8110, said service and repair must be commenced within a reasonable time, unless the buyer agrees in writing to the contrary. Delay caused by conditions beyond the control of the retail seller’s representative shall serve to extend the time for repair. Where such a delay arises, conforming goods shall be tendered as soon as possible following termination of the condition giving use to the delay. [1973 c.413 §10a] Note: See note under 72.8010.
