Statute Text
Scope
of practice of optician.
Any dispensing optician may fabricate any ophthalmic lens in conformity with
the signed prescription, or oral instruction followed by a written
prescription, of any optometrist or person duly licensed to practice medicine
in this state. Any dispensing optician may supply any ophthalmic lens in
conformity with the prescription and the specified expiration date thereof. [1991
