Statute Text
Survey
to evaluate institutions; reporting; withdrawal of approval.
(1) As determined necessary by the
Oregon State Board of Nursing, the board shall survey the institutions approved
to provide nursing education programs.
(2) An
institution shall submit to the board a written report that includes an
evaluation of physical facilities, clinical resources, courses of study and
qualifications of instructors.
(3) If the board
determines an institution does not meet requirements for approved programs, the
board shall issue to the institution written notice that specifies the defect
and the time within which the institution must correct the defect.
(4) The board
shall withdraw approval from an institution that fails to correct the defect
specified under subsection (3) of this section within the period of time
prescribed in the notice. The institution may request and if requested shall be
granted a hearing before the board in the manner required for contested cases
under ORS chapter 183. [Amended by 1973 c.584 §19; 2019 c.358 §34]
