Statute Text
Duties
of committee.
The
Acupuncture Advisory Committee shall:
(1) Review and
make recommendations concerning all applications to the Oregon Medical Board
for acupuncture licensing or acupuncture license renewal.
(2) Recommend to
the board standards of professional responsibility and practice for licensed
acupuncturists.
(3) Recommend to
the board standards of didactic and clinical education and training for
acupuncture license applicants.
(4) Recommend to
the board a licensing examination that meets the standards of the National
Commission for Certifying Agencies or an equivalent organization nationally
recognized for testing acupuncturists. [1997 c.527 §2; 2007 c.71 §220]
