Penalties for violations of ORS 671.010 to 671.220 or 671.530.
(1)(a) A person that violates a
provision of ORS 671.010 to 671.220 or a rule the State Board of Architect
Examiners adopts under ORS 671.010 to 671.220 is subject to a civil penalty of
not more than $5,000 for each violation. A civil penalty under this subsection
is in addition to and not in lieu of any other penalty or sanction provided by
law.
(b) The board may
impose a civil penalty under this section only in accordance with ORS 183.745.
(c)
Notwithstanding ORS 670.335, the board shall deposit all civil penalties
recovered under this section into an account the board establishes in
accordance with ORS 182.470. Moneys the board deposits are appropriated
continuously to the board and may be used only for the administration and
enforcement of ORS 182.456 to 182.472 and 671.010 to 671.220.
(2) Violation of
ORS 671.530 is a misdemeanor. [Subsection (2) enacted as 1961 c.431 §24;
