Statute Text
Fees and charges for services. No fee or charge may be required or accepted from an individual seeking employment prior to the time such individual obtains employment and actually starts work. However, the employment agency may specify the terms of payment in the contract, or, after the applicant accepts employment, but before starting work, enter into an agreement for the payment of the agency’s charge, providing payment is to commence only upon the condition and after the date the applicant starts work.
