Statute Text
Manager; appointment; functions. (1) The State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation is under the direct supervision of a manager appointed by the board of directors of the State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation. The manager serves at the pleasure of the board of directors. The manager shall qualify in the manner provided for board members in ORS 656.716 except that no bond shall be required. (2) The manager has such powers as are necessary to carry out the functions of the State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation, subject to policy direction by the board of directors. (3) The manager may employ, terminate and supervise the employment of such assistants, experts, field personnel and clerks as may be required in the administration of the State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation.
