Statute Text
Governmental agency paying wages responsible for providing coverage. Except as otherwise provided in ORS 656.029 to 656.033 and 656.041, but notwithstanding any other provision of law, the state or any city, county, district, or agency thereof, that pays the wages of a subject worker is responsible for providing workers’ compensation insurance coverage for that worker.
