Pesticide incident telephone line. (1) The State Department of Agriculture, in consultation with the Pesticide Analytical and Response Center, shall establish a pesticide incident telephone line for receiving, and facilitating the coordination of public entities’ responses to, pesticide-related complaints by the public indicating possible health or environmental effects. (2) The center shall develop and maintain standard operating procedures for use with the telephone line. The department, in consultation with the center and other affected public entities, shall periodically update the telephone line operating procedures to comply with any new standard operating procedures developed by the center.
