Statute Text
Milk
not to be sold if from diseased animals or from animals that have not been
tested or retested for brucellosis.
(1) A person shall not sell or offer or expose for sale any fluid milk with
knowledge that the milk has been produced from a herd of cows, sheep or goats,
one or more of which were infected with brucellosis at the time the milk was
produced, or with knowledge that not all the animals in the herd have been
tested or retested for brucellosis in a manner approved by the State Department
of Agriculture.
(2) The tests
described by this section shall be performed only by state veterinarians,
assistant state veterinarians or deputy state veterinarians employed or
appointed by the department, or by veterinarians employed by the United States
