Statute Text
Record
of penalized owners.
(1) When a civil penalty is assessed against a dog owner under ORS 609.162 or
609.163, the county shall supply the State Department of Agriculture with
information identifying the dog owner. The department shall supply the counties
with forms for recording the information.
(2) The
department shall maintain the record of a penalized dog owner for a reasonable
period and shall make the record available to any county upon request.
(3) The county
and the department may charge reasonable fees to the dog owner to cover the
cost of conducting and administering the dog owner information program. [1999
