Statute Text
Taking
up estray animal; prohibition.
(1) A person who finds an estray animal upon the premises of the person or
premises of which the person has lawful possession or control may take up the
animal.
(2) A person may
not knowingly take up or retain possession, custody or control of an estray
animal without giving the notice required by ORS 607.313. [1953 c.367 §9; 1975
c.65 §3; 2009 c.336 §6]
