Application of Uniform Commercial Code–Documents of Title and other laws to public warehouses. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, every public warehouse complying with the provisions of ORS 586.210 to 586.730 is exempt from all the provisions of all other laws of this state regulating and licensing warehouses. (2) The provisions of ORS chapter 77 apply to public warehouses complying with the provisions of ORS 586.210 to 586.730 to the extent that the provisions of ORS chapter 77 are not inconsistent with the provisions of ORS 586.210 to 586.730.
