Statute Text
Requirements to transact business in this state.
(1) A foreign professional
corporation may render professional service or services in this state only
after the foreign professional corporation obtains:
(a) Approval from
the regulatory board of each professional service which will be rendered in
this state before offering or rendering the service in this state; and
(b) Authorization
to transact business in this state from the Secretary of State.
(2) A foreign
professional corporation may not obtain authority to transact business in this
state, unless:
(a) The name of
the corporation satisfies the requirements of ORS 58.115; and
(b) It complies
with ORS 58.076. [1987 c.94 §20; 1993 c.235 §6]
