Statute Text
Rules;
fees.
In
accordance with any applicable provision of ORS chapter 183, the State
Department of Agriculture, by rule, shall establish a licensing system for
persons who act as ginseng growers or dealers. The system shall include, but
not be limited to, provisions:
(1) Prescribing
the form and content of, and the times and procedures for submitting, an
application for license issuance or renewal.
(2) Prescribing
the term of the license and the fee for original issuance and renewal of the
license in an amount that does not exceed the cost of administering the
licensing system.
(3) Prescribing
such certification requirements as may be necessary to promote or allow the
sale of ginseng in interstate or international commerce.
(4) Establishing
an advisory committee to provide assistance to the department in the
administration of ORS 571.650 to 571.660. [Formerly 571.360]
