Statute Text
Law enforcement and public officials accompanying inspectors; rules. The State Department of Agriculture shall adopt rules to allow: (1) Law enforcement officers to accompany representatives of the department to an industrial hemp operation for the purposes of providing protection to the department’s representatives; and (2) Public employees and officials who are responsible for the enforcement of state and local laws to accompany representatives of the department to an industrial hemp operation in order to carry out inspections that the public employees or officials are authorized to perform.
