Invasive Species Council Account; trust account.
(1) The Invasive Species Council
Account is established in the General Fund of the State Treasury. Except as
provided under subsection (2) of this section, all moneys received by the
Invasive Species Council shall be paid into the State Treasury and credited to
the account. All moneys in the account are continuously appropriated to the
council and may be used by the council for purposes authorized by law,
including but not limited to providing grants or loans as described under ORS
570.755.
(2) The Invasive
Species Council may accept moneys through gifts, grants and donations from
public and private sources. The council shall deposit the gifts, grants and
donations with the State Treasurer for credit to a trust account separate and
distinct from the General Fund. Interest earned by the trust account shall be
credited to the trust account. Except as otherwise provided by the donor, the
council may use trust account moneys for any purpose described in ORS 570.755. [Formerly
