Statute Text
Notice
of hearing; questions considered.
Within 60 days after a petition described in ORS 568.300 is filed with the
State Department of Agriculture, the department shall give notice of and hold a
public hearing:
(1) Upon the
question of the desirability and necessity, in the interest of the general
welfare, of the creation of the district.
(2) Upon the
question of the appropriate boundaries to be assigned to the district.
(3) Upon the
propriety of the petition and other proceedings taken under ORS 568.210 to
