Statute Text
Rules
and regulations governing quarantines.
(1) A quarantine authorized by ORS 561.510 shall be subject to such rules and
regulations as the Director of Agriculture deems necessary for the protection
of the public welfare.
(2) The movement
of any animals, bees, fruits, vegetables, plants, parts of plants, fowls, seeds
or articles liable to contain weeds or weed seeds or to spread disease or
infestation, which are subject to quarantine, may be permitted subject to such
regulations as the director may prescribe.
(3) Any such
diseased or infested animals, fowls, bees, fruits, vegetables, plants, parts of
plants, seeds, weeds, weed seeds and any articles, structures or lands within
any quarantine area or section within this state shall be subject to such
regulations for the eradication of such disease, infestation or weeds as the
director may prescribe.
